Workstation Primer audiocassette series SR122C
The goal of this course is to introduce the student to the basic
concepts of computer workstations: functions, subsystems, networks,
application requirements and competitive positioning and
differentiation.
STUDENT PROFILE:
CSO sales reps, sales management, and PSO Consultants supporting sales
of workstation products worldwide. Also authorized for HP Channel
Partners.
PREREQUISITES:
None
STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
o The basic knowledge to better determine and communicate why and
how workstations provide the best solutions for your customers.
o A functional overview of workstations, some of their key
subsystems, and their operating networks.
o A working knowledge of the basic vocabulary of workstations.
o Key information of how to differentiate workstations from PCs.
